Enrichment

Through enrichment, we aim to nurture well-rounded individuals who are eager to learn and grow both academically and personally.

We offer a variety of activities and opportunities beyond the standard curriculum, allowing our students to explore their interests, develop new skills, and deepen their knowledge in a supportive and engaging environment.

Service

We believe that charity and community engagement are important for our students, and we always look for opportunities to contribute through various initiatives, whether it be performing concerts for local residents, or fun runs to raise funds for charities. This holistic approach ensures that our students not only learn the importance of giving back but also make a meaningful difference in the lives of those around them and within our community.

Model United Nations

We host our own student-led Model United Nations (MUN) event and take part in other school run MUN events. Doing so gives students the opportunity to develop critical thinking, public speaking, and research skills by simulating international diplomacy and global issues. MUN encourages students to engage with complex global challenges, understand diverse perspectives, and practice collaboration and negotiation.

Duke of Edinburgh

For Years 10 and above, we offer students the opportunity to take part in The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme. Under the guidance of our DofE lead, who runs the expedition training, students can work towards the Bronze and Silver awards. The scheme gives students the opportunity to grow in confidence and develop skills they need to successfully navigate life.

Residentials / Camps

Residentials and camps play a vital role in student development as they provide opportunities for personal growth, fostering independence and self-confidence. These experiences promote teamwork and collaboration through group activities, helping to build social skills and strengthen friendships. Additionally, they often encourage students to step outside their comfort zones, fostering resilience and adaptability.

Our Seniors go on residentials within the first few weeks of the Autumn Term, and our Juniors go on camps during the Summer Term.
