School Lunch

We partner with Appel Catering, a provider for fresh lunch options that encourages students to make healthy choices in terms of food and drink by showing that responsible food is tasty and fun.

Half termly subscriptions – this is a set menu for packed lunches or hot meals

Daily orders (packed lunches) – select from an assortment menu of sandwiches, salads, drinks and dairy products and order per day. Orders must be made 48 hours in advance. For example if you want to order lunch for Friday, your order must be placed before 11.00 am on Wednesday.

Daily orders (hot lunches) – select from a meal schedule and with at least 24 hours notice. Orders should be placed before 10.00am a day in advance.

If you choose the daily order option, you must place a separate order for each day you would like your child to receive lunch. For example, if you want to order lunch on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, you must place 3 separate orders for this week and follow the notice times stated above.

*The above options are the subscription choices, however, please note that Senior students can also buy their own lunch and snacks during their breaks with cash/card from the canteen.

In the Early Years, only packed lunches are available. In the Junior and Senior School, both packed lunches and hot meals are available. Sample menus are provided in the links below:

We aim to be a ‘nut-free’ school

The BSA aims to provide a safe and healthy learning environment for all pupils and staff. While striving to be a nut-free school, complete guarantees cannot be given.

The BSA informs suppliers, staff, pupils, and parents/guardians about the school’s mission, by instructing catering providers, and providing guidelines in the handbook and the school website.

However, it’s challenging to find products completely free of nuts due to potential traces. Despite efforts, the risk of nuts entering the school cannot be eliminated. Pupils and staff with allergies should not solely rely on the policy and should inform The BSA of their allergies and take necessary precautions.
