b"Issue 15 The British School of AmsterdamFrom the PrincipalDear Parents,Pupils and Staff,Welcome to the Spring edition of The Review. I am delighted to welcome you to this edition of The Review, where we showcase the most exciting events that have taken place at The BSA over the past few months. In the second half term we celebrated Book Week, a lively and engaging event that promoted the joys of reading and writing with a range of exciting activities. As always, our goal was to promote literacy, inspire creativity, and encourage a love of learning in our pupils. At The BSA, we pride ourselves on nurturing, inspiring, and empowering our pupils to achieve their full potential.Another standout event was the Senior Art Exhibition, which EARLY YEARSBOOK WEEK showcased the amazing outcomes of our art exam students. The exhibition featured an impressive range of creative and innovative pieces, including ceramics, textiles, drawings, and painting. We are incredibly proud of the talent and hard work our students displayed, guided by our dedicated teachers. The term was packed with a range of other enriching and inspiring events, each providing unique opportunities for our pupils, parents, and staff to grow and develop both socially and JUNIORSWELL-BEING WEEK academically, as well as personally. From the Whole School Wellbeing Week that promoted mindfulness and self-care, to the energetic Wake Up Shake Up for our Junior pupils, and the Senior Ski trip to Verbier that challenged our students' physical and mental limits, each event contributed to the holistic development of our community. Additionally, the Year 5 show, parent coffee mornings, and enriching staff INSET days encouraged collaboration, engagement, and a sense of belonging.I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the entire BSA community for their enthusiastic support and participation in these events which has made them a great success!RUTH SANDERSON, PRINCIPALSENIORS SKI TRIP TO VERBIER THE BRITISH SCHOOL OF AMSTERDAM3"
