b"Issue 11 The British School of AmsterdamAnti-Bullying WeekIn November, we marked Anti-Bullying week across the School. This is an annual event which started with Odd Socks Day. Children and staff wore odd socks to celebrate diversity in our world and school community. One Kind Word was this year's theme and the children were encouraged to think about the role they play in making our school a kind and inclusive place. They thought about the power of our words and how one kind word can make someone's day. The values of kindness and acceptance discussed during this week are a core part of our School ethos and will continue to have an impact far beyond the week itself.School Council and Eco Squad Shoe Box Our School Council representatives share the childrensAppealideas about school development and co-ordinate fundraising events.
