b"Issue 11 The British School of AmsterdamMUNISHOn 57 November, 13 Sixth Form students headed out to The International School of the Hague to attend the 31st Annual Session of MUNISH.MUN is a conference run by youth, for today's youth, to benefit the youth of tomorrow. The conference had over 1200 participants, with students from all over the world that will hopefully become the diplomats of tomorrow. The theme was Shifting Power Dynamics in a Globalised World, which aimed to acknowledge the extensive changes that have occurred in the last two decades.Isabel represented Turkey in debating the challenging topic on the Question of the Uyghur Muslims in China, and for the first time Veer represented Turkey in the more challenging committee North Atlantic Trade Organization (NATO). For all students, the conference required 3 days of intense debating, collaborating and research on their topics, and they all managed to achieve this by submitting clauses that were passed on resolutions. I would like to congratulate all the students that attended the conference for their professionalism and commitment to the committee and in successfully representing their UN country. A special mention to Taeke Stevens, who achieved the accolade of GA1 best delegate and for Aaron and David that were voted Best Dressed.House BadgesIn the School, we have a House System where pupils are placed in one of the following four houses: Singel, Heren, Keizers or Prinsen. Points are awarded throughout the year during assemblies, activities and competitions which contribute to the overall house score and award. This year, we have created House Badges which were brought to life using some of the pupils drawings as inspiration.19"
