b'The Early Years SchoolThis Autumn edition of The Review provides a snap shot of some of the events that have happened this term, we hope you enjoy this peep inside the Early Years. We welcomed almost 70 new families to the Early Years school in September, and this year parents were able to spend time in the classroom, supporting their childs induction and starting to build positive relationships with staff. The link between home and school is very important in the Early Years and one which we hope to promote. The children settled remarkably quickly into school, after just a few weeks it was easy to forget that that some children EARLY YEARS are only just 3 and that many have never been to school before. It is a privilege to work in the Early Years School with the support of a great team of staff and to watch the children progress both emotionally and academically. There is always so much to see.As a result of coronavirus, in the previous 2 school years we sawa decline in our Nursery numbers, however this term the numbers of parents touring the school and enrolling their children has steadily increased, so much so that in January 2023, we will be opening a fourth Nursery class. We had always anticipated having DOUGH DISCO four Nursery classes in the EYS and the classroom is already set up ready to welcome the new children. We wish Nora Peto, (class teacher) and Jasmine Savla and Rasha Badawy, (Nursery Officers), every success in their first term in Beech class.Thank you to all parents this term for supporting the Early Years School. I wish you all very happy holidays and look forward to seeing your children return to school in the new year.Best wishes for 2023.MRS CLAUDIA VAN DE LAARHEAD OF EARLY YEARSc.newson @ britams.nl EXPLORING THE AUTUMN SEASON4'
