BSA winners:Category A - 3rd prize Amelie BradburyI had fun participating in the competition as I\'ve never done something like this before. The book genre was also one I dont usually read. It was interesting to find out how women who were hysterical were treated in the 19th century. I am happy and proud that I chose to enter this competition. I wasnt expecting a prize and the fact I got third place is amazing for me. The actual letter itself helped me with my writing skills and also being able to put myself into a characters shoes. I enjoyed it and would definitely do it again.Category B - 1st prize Carlota Camarudin-CamposThe book was interesting and entertaining to read. It was a challenge to read in French because I am not fluent and am still learning it, but I am proud of myself for the effort and dedication I put in, as I also learned a lot of new stuff from the book and the way that crazy women were treated at the time. Additionally, I really liked writing the essay because it surprised me that I could actually write that much in French and I didn\'t struggle with expressing my ideas as much as I thought I would. Overall, it was a really good experience as I was able to improve my French as well as improving my essay skills and I feel very proud of myself for having won.22'
