b'Issue 13 The British School of AmsterdamFrom the PrincipalDear Parents, Pupilsand Staff, Welcometo the Summer editionof The Review. The Summer Term has been such a busy one with trips and camps throughout the school, exams for our GCSE, AS A Level students, and lots of energy going into the end of year shows and theatre performance of Puffs. A personal highlight this term was International Day organised by our amazing PO. It was wonderful to see the entire community be together for such a delightful day with performances from the pupils and delicious food and activities organised by the parentsI hope you were as proud of it as I was. As we all look through this issue we continue to see the many talents of our pupils and the amazing work that the staff do to inspire them. This will be my last edition of The Review. In AugustI will be flying off to sunnier climes to head up another British international school, St. Julians in Lisbon, so I would like to take the opportunity to say what a privilege and pleasure it has been to be Principal of The British School of Amsterdam over the last six years. I am so proud to see the pupils and staff in one building on Havenstraat. It is wonderful that we have such a special, warm and supportive community. I have had the pleasure of working with so many amazing people too, including members of the Supervisory Board and the Parents Organisationthese times I will cherish. Everyone at the BSA is so focussed on doing the very best for ouryouramazing children and I want to wish Ruth Sanderson all the very best as she takes the reins from 1 August.MR MORGAN BEING PRESENTED WITHThank you all for your support and wishing youA GIFT BY THE SUPERVISORY BOARD the very best for the future.PAUL MORGAN, PRINCIPALTHE BRITISH SCHOOL OF AMSTERDAM@bsa_principal principal@britams.nl 3'
