b'The NewsEarly Years SchoolThe Early Years SchoolThis edition of The Review allowsus to celebrate our first full year at the Havenstraat, to look back at some ofthe childrens achievements this term and to say a big Thank You to the staffand parents in the Early Years whohave inspired the children and ensured that they have achieved success. The Early Years School is not just about marking the childrens academic achievement. The Early Years is a community where children are nurtured and well cared for, a place where friendships are formed. It is a place of respect for each other EAL CLASS and where everyone has a sense of belonging. Whether children are just transitioning to Year Two in the Junior School or moving to a new school, literally on the other side of the world, we hope that they will take happy memories of the Early Years with them and that their friendships continue. We have to say goodbye to some members of the Early Years school. Mrs. Melissa Smith is leaving after more than 10 years at the British School. She is returning to South Africa with her LADYBIRD CLASS family to pursue new adventures. Miss Tara Tuite is also relocating back to her home country of Ireland. Miss Tuite has also worked at the British School for many years. Mrs. van Dyk is relocating to the UK to pursue roles that align with her therapeutic and social work background. We thank them all for the wonderful contribution that they have made to the Early Years school. We know that the staff and the children will miss them.To those friends and families leaving, we wish you a successful relocation, we hope your children settle quickly in to their new schools. To those families returning after the summer, we look forward to seeing you in September. Happy holidays!YEAR 1 CLASS MRS CLAUDIA VAN DE LAARHEAD OF EARLY YEARSc.newson@britams.nl 6'
